TONIGHT’S FUGITIVES:

TEAM 1: DAVID AND EMILEY – Dating Couple

Last seen… 14 days in and the couple are currently hiding at a friends place. Head of Intel Theresa Payton is following leads from David’s book; note to self, never publish one! Their friend Holly comes to pick them up and I’m pretty sure she’s in that book.

Low and behold, Holly’s name IS in the book and Intel tracks where she lives. Emiley happens to have a friend at a Chevy dealer who lends them a car and they head to a cabin in the woods. My fave Hunters, Team Foxtrot and Echo, are deployed to scope out their whereabouts. Side note, I thought the Y in Myke was crazy, but I am stumped by the F in Andy Stumpf!

VERDICT SO FAR…

I swear this couple has 9 lives, and they’ve probably used up 3 so far. Their plans seem to be working, so they are definitely doing the right thing. They are hella paranoid and have caught on that they need to be more aware of the contacts they use. With only 3 episodes left and the edit they have been receiving I think we’re going to see this team make the 28 days!

TEAM 6: AARIF AND IMMAD – Friends

Last seen… leaving redneck Linda’s place with the camper. They head down the river in a kayak to find an ATM to withdraw money, with a plan to run back to the kayak and paddle another 4-5 hours to their camper; I’m exhausted already! The water’s looking pretty choppy… good luck boys.

At Intel, Charles and Benny ‘guess’ that the boys may kayak up the river. Ohh, how’d you know guys?! Aarif and Immad find an ATM and rush off. Intel open the CCTV and are looking for a vehicle to track. The guy who the boys want a ride with needs to STOP AND GET ICE! WHAT?! How frustrating. Team Golf are on their way! And in all the waiting time Intel pick the boys out and the red pick up truck… because of bloody ICE! Fortunately, Team Golf end up at the Ice truck a tad too late and the boys hope they follow the red truck while they’re kayaking back.

The boys struggle on the water and all I can think about are the drones we saw last week catching Miles and Will. And I’m semi-right, Intel send out a chopper! The boys make it back to the campsite though, but Team Golf are close behind. Both Aarif and Immad start shaving their heads and faces, HUGE call, but great choice. Go big or go home!

VERDICT SO FAR…

I am so impressed with these guys, they’ve made as many risk averse moves that they can and tried to avoid any use of technology on the run; especially when they realised Meadow was being followed. The use of the camper and kayak was a bold, but fantastic move on their part and the fact they were able to escape quick enough from the ATM was ace. The best thing we’ve seen so far are the boys shaving their heads and facial hair. They look like completely different people and will be hard to recognise. I really hope they go the distance!

TEAM 8: THU AND SENTRA – Friends

Last seen… At Rob’s place, with Team Delta knocking on their door. Hunter Jacquie needs to get in the house and I’m thinking, are they allowed to just enter his house?! Don’t you need a search warrant of some sort? Hmm. But what do I know…

Luckily, Thu and Sentra have already fled! They’ve gone off the grid and are camping by a river. Meanwhile, Jacquie is absolutely GRILLING Rob. Poor Rob. Jacquie is not backing down. She means business! Even I’m feeling scared. Can you imagine if SHE got butt dialed?! :O

They trace the girls back to the coffee bar. Intel find CCTV footage of their car leaving the coffee shop… NOO!

The girls are excited that they have been able to make it halfway through their 28 day run staying off the grid. They decide to make a move… A move to celebrate their 14 days. No girls, stay in the wild! You don’t NEED Taco Bell! Whilst driving the girls have no idea that all car license plates are getting snapped by cameras. Jacquie and Paul from Team Delta are on the road and think they spot the girls car in front of them… Wrong! Ry-Phi at Intel is ALL over the parking lots.

The girls do the right thing and ask some random guy to buy them Taco Bell, but one step forward three steps back when they decide to park and eat. Team Delta spot their car, and I hope those tacos taste like $250,000, because CAPTURED! “No way, dude!” That sucks. I loved these girls!

FINAL VERDICT…

What a damn shame. I was so excited to see these girls go much further, although 14 days is still better than some others. Their camping skills really gave them the edge and Intel wouldn’t have nothing on them if they just stayed there. Bur girls gotta eat, right?! They definitely became a little too comfortable with their situation and put the game aside which you just can’t do. Better luck next time!

TEAM 9: ENGLISH AND STEPHEN – Married Couple

English Stephen.png

The final team of fugitives, English and Stephen KING are ‘on the run’ as they are out with their kids. English explains how important it is to plan, plan, plan, and how she is pivotal in all their teams executions. We shall see, lady! They hit the road hitch hiking. Intel deploy lady Hunters, Team Charlie, to question people in the the King’s area.

Ry-Phi warns Team Charlie about a rental property that English’s mother is staying at while looking after the kiddies. They find out the King’s left on foot and think they are CRAZY as it is monsoonal out there.

The King’s are stuck in a storm and NO ONE is helping them out, everyone thinks they’re bloody hobos looking for extra coin. They eventually find a random who lets them stay on a building site inside some shed. Shame they can’t stay in there for 28 days…

VERDICT SO FAR…

Firstly, the King’s just have to pray to God it stops raining. English definitely has a plan, but we are yet to really see what it is. The hitch-hiking might work for a while, but we saw what happened to Miles and Will last week and surely Intel will try and stop them in their tracks with some dirty online tactics.
